Amanda Kimmel represented the USA at the 2005 Miss Earth Pageant held in Manila, Philippines. Amanda was a preliminary swimsuit winner and advanced to the final 8, finishing 6th overall. After her international success, Amanda relocated from her home state of Montana to Los Angeles, California, where she currently resides, to begin her acting and fashion deign career. Amanda achieved greater success on the CBS reality show Survivor appearing on both season 15 (China) and season 16 (Micronesia), finishing as the runner-up in both seasons. Prior to joining us this past July as a judge for the 2008 national pageant, Amanda had just completed her first feature film in Hawaii.
Amanda Pennekamp was crowned Miss Earth United States 2006 in the inaugural pageant held in Laughlin, Nevada. Amanda followed her predecessor as a preliminary swimsuit winner and advancing to the top 16, where she finished 9th overall. After returning home from Manila, Philippines, Amanda continued her success as a professional model and actress. As red carpet entertainment correspondent and host of The V Fixx, she has interviewed mega superstars and athletes. Amanda will trade her Miss title for a Mrs. title as she weds Brian Bluestein this October(2008).
Lisa Forbes won the title of Miss Earth United States 2007 in Portland, Oregon. She traveled to Manila, Philippines and Vietnam for the Miss Earth Pageant. She was selected to appear on the local Philippine TV show "Deal or No Deal" and appeared on national Vietnamese TV as part of her participation in the international pageant. Lisa continued the successes of her predecessors, receiving honorable mentioned, finishing in the top 20. As part owner of Crown Chic Gowns in Kansas and owner of Crowning Concepts Pageant Coaching, Lisa continues to be part of the United States Earth Pageant family, working with our titleholders, preparing them for their competitions.
